I don’t use many add-on’s at all, but one that I feel blind without using is HealBot!

It displays the health bars of everyone in the raid very clearly and even tells you exactly how many hit points each person is down by. If other healers are using it too, it will show you the projected hitpoints of a person after the heal they are casting lands on their target. So if you see that another healer has already started to heal a particular person, you can cast a heal on another person who is also in need of some health and so it saves you from overhealing the same person.
Key changes I have made to HealBot to help me best:
- monitor when someone needs a fortitude buff – I will find out a few seconds before it expires
- monitor when I need my Inner Fire (armour) buff
- monitor when I can dispel a magic effect off someone
- monitor when I can remove a disease from someone
- set it up so if I SHIFT-CLICK a person, it selects them
- turned on track aggro with the >> name << highlighted like that (everyone’s who has aggro will have the arrows pointing into their name)
I have left the LEFT-CLICK as a flash heal, RIGHT-CLICK as a greater heal and MOUSE-BUTTON as a renew.
I’m sure I could use healbot even more, but for now this is sufficient for me.
